About me
Abigail’s yoga journey took a pivotal turn in 2012 after a stroke challenged her in every way. With determination, she studied biomechanics, anatomy, and neuro-rehabilitation, rebuilding her strength and cultivating a deep appreciation for movement. Now, as a seasoned teacher with dual 500-hour RYT certifications and over 1,500 hours of continuing education, she brings a blend of expertise and empathy to her Yin, Vinyasa, and Integrated Hatha classes. Outside the studio, Abigail’s loves a long walk and hiking, learning Spanish, family time (she has a lively blended family of eight kids and four grandsons), and reading her way to 52 books a year. Her go-to treat is Ben & Jerry’s Chocolate Fudge Brownie ice cream. Her favorite posture is currently Pincha Mayurasana but she also loves strength training and the stretch of yin. Abigail teaches to help others feel at home in their bodies and whole in themselves—because yoga helped her do just that.
