SOUND TENT
Step into a deeply immersive yoga experience designed to heighten your awareness and awaken your senses. This unique workshop invites you to set aside the sense of sight and connect more fully with taste, touch, and sound. This blindfolded journey begins with a mindful taste meditation, allowing you to savor simple, nourishing flavors and ground yourself in the present moment. From there, you’ll flow into a yoga practice, where removing visual input deepens your focus on touch, breath, and balance. Feel the grounding connection of your body to the mat and the energy of intentional movement in a safe, nurturing environment. The experience concludes with a restorative savasana accompanied by a calming sound bath, featuring singing bowls, chimes, and other harmonic instruments. During this final relaxation, gentle hands-on adjustments will provide grounding and comfort, helping you fully release into blissful stillness.
This workshop offers an opportunity to deepen your connection to the wisdom and sacred spirit of Zion, as we explore the cultural and natural history that has shaped this canyon. Our time together will include an earth centered guided meditation, a breath practice and ritual to tune into the rhythms of nature and our place within it. All levels welcome, bring any additional props, blankets or pillows for your comfort. (This is partially Educational/lecture based, but will also be a gentle practice/meditation)
